Face ID and QR Code Magic: Discover How New Aadhaar App is Revolutionizing Digital Verification

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has presented a new mobile app to Aadhar who will integrate facial recognition and AI authentication. The application was developed with the exclusive identification authority of India (Uidai) and aims to check AADHAAR as perfect and safe as the use of UPI for payments.

The new AADHAAR app eliminates the need to transport physical copies of your AADHAAR card to check on hotels, shops, airports and other locations. Citizens will be able to check their identities using QR checks and real -time authentication, all of their cell phones. Taking to X, Ashwinin Vaishnaw said it offers users complete control over the information they choose to share. “Enough of distributing aadhaar photocopies.” With just one touch, you can share only the necessary data, maintaining the complete privacy, ”he wrote in X (formerly Twitter).

The app uses AADHAAR FACE authentication, a system that has already processed more than 150 million transactions per month in various sectors. The newly produced application also includes QR-based verification, which is similar to UPI payments simplified with QR codes.

According to the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, the application will allow AADHAAR holders to check your identity and share information only when necessary digitally. It is built with numerous safeguards to prevent misuse of data, unauthorized access and identity theft.

The app is currently under Beta and is available to a selected user group, including those who participated in the AADHAAR SAMVAAD event. Before the application is publicized to the public, authorities will request feedback to improve it further. Once completely operational, this AADHAAR application should simplify access to services while protecting user privacy, representing another step forward in India’s digital governance efforts.
